Who Should Come?
Puppies between the ages of 12 - 16 weeks at the start of the class.
Class Information:

Course Length: 4 Weeks
Class Length: Approximately 1 hour- 1 1/2 hours, which includes supervised playtime at the end of class.
Class Size: 6 Puppies

Teen Tune Up
$500.
Teen Tune Up is for the dog that has left the puppy stage behind and has moved into the sometimes tough teen age stage.
Teen Tune Up will cover topics including:

Improving Communication with your dog

Building a better relationship

Proper Loose Leash Walking

Basic Obedience (Basic Commands) - Sit, Down, Wait, Stay, Come

Focus on a well mannered dog, creating a good canine citizen

Discussion of problem behaviors and appropriate solutions.
Who Should Come?
Any Headstart Graduates. Any dogs 17 weeks or older that are in need of improving their basic manners and response to commands.
Class Information:

Course Length: 8 Weeks
Class Length: Approximately 1 hour- 1 1/2 hours.
Class Size: 6 Teenagers.

Stay & Train Finishing School
1 week : $1,200. Includes 3 follow up lessons
2 weeks: $2,400. Includes 5 follow up lessons
Stay and train focuses on fine tuning your dog’s understanding of basic obedience while staying at Trainer Yvonne Mellon’s residence.
It is one dog at a time. The focus is on practical training, from waking in the AM to sleep time at night.
It is personal training 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
Unlike other Board & Train facilities and programs where your dog is in a kennel environment and mostly trained between 9am to 5pm with several other dogs, Super Dog Trainer Yvonne Mellon concentrates on one dog staying in her residence with all the comforts of home.
The training focuses on dependable responses to commands, precision while on lead and off.
The training focuses on proper response to commands while amidst tempting distraction.
Your dog will go on field trips with the trainer teaching your dog to behave appropriately in different situations with varying distractions.
An e-Collar is used during Stay & Train and Owners are trained in the proper use of the e collar.
